wow. just wow, i really don't know what to say about this, I've never felt so seen by a VN before, if you're even slightly interested in this at all i highly recommend you read it.
this game hit so close to home that i can't help but wonder if that's sad or not. i love Gail, as a character, as a protagonist, in the beginning i nearly found myself thinking she seemed like kind of a douche but the more i spent time with her, the more i
want to be her gf BECAUSE IT SHOULDVE BEEN ME NOT SUSIEunderstood.and it's not just understanding, it's relating to this, very niche experience (at least how i see it), of being a queer, neurodivergent, shut-in transwoman that struggles daily with navigating her life, fears and trauma. feeling like you will NEVER in your life be understood until that one person shows up and turns your perception of reality upside down in more ways than one. you laugh, you cry, you hurt, you heal. you move on. you realize that no, you're not hopeless. things can get better.

Gail running away and hiding from a shitty situation and transitioning as a shut-in is way too relatable. Just really funny/unfortunate that for me Gail is the name of my mom, the person I had to get away from. So every time she was relatable, I felt a little discomfort due to the shared name. Also as an enjoyer of obscure girls love manga and anime, I can very much relate to the feeling like I could never find a girl with similar interests, haha

This was SO good, loved loved loved this! The dialogue between Gail and Susie was so well done, and the parts where you see Gail's spiraling thoughts were great. The art is fantastic too... that last CG after the credits, she really did it...!

Such a fun read! Gail is such a fascinating character. I can understand why she was studied in a lab. Plus the art really sells the novel's tone and the jokes. In particular I adored the little 'henshin' scene. Great Bit 10/10.
