A delightfully intense experience. The sound, the use of limited visuals (both in terms of color as well as very literally limiting your visuals), and the passionate dialogue make this tight, tense encounter vice-grip you the entire length of this short story.

Another point I was particularly impressed with: ExS both wears influences on its sleeve and completely shirks them off for something that feels at once familiar and "lived in" and also completely new. Really impressive stuff being done here!

This was so, so cool! Just a completely intense experience all the way through. And the dialogue! Such a wonderfully toxic vibe of love and hate and desire and repulsion. And the style too! So good! I'm going to be thinking about this one for a long time...

goodness gracious great balls of fire this kicks so much ass. i have a disease and the only cure for what i have is nonstop brain hammering nauseous edge of your seat 'i want off this ride' can't-look-away 'this is not a place of honor' scorched apocalyptic waste cartoon-yellow-barrel-dripping-green-goo toxic toxic yuri. and the disease is supposed to be terminal but the make-a-wish foundation just took away my wish because, they told me, "you're cured. you've never been more cured in your life." because this cured me. by being that, in an awesome way.

others have better words for this but fantastic sound design visual style etc. absolutely incredible. and hot, by the way. going to be bouncing around my brain like the dvd screensaver logo for a LONG time. we've reached never-before-seen levels of peak. love. love. love. love. love. love. one trillion out of ten. god DAMN. 

comical exaggeration aside this is one of the best vns i've ever read. it's peak. it's so fucking peak.

the soundscape is really nice with the ambient warring sounds / gunfire etc

So unbelievably fucked up and toxic and I loved every second of it. This truly is all killer no filler raw emotional intensity yuri hatelove writing and it made me squeal out and grin my ass off so many times. You truly wrote a beautifully fucked pair of girls here <3

This is a very rambly comment because just like the echo of the gunshot sfx, this vn is echoing in my head in all directions and I can't do much but point at it and go "holy shit yes I love girls that are horrible", so consider my grey matter splattered all over your itch page

I have a lot of thoughts so I'll try to get them in order as I write. I usually like more to talk about what I thought of the craft that went into a story rather than how it made me feel, but this was very raw and sharp and deserves those emotions inside me, especially toward the end there. 

First off, the gun discharge forms for every bullet shot is such a clever, impactful narrative device, I smiled the first time I saw it. And then I let the moment wash over me every other time, growing in intensity and emotion until the end, where it felt more like a release... Only it wasn't. It left a wound that's only gonna create more wounds, in a scene that actually unnerved me because of how good it was, part of it being the incredible art.

There were some times where I thought our girl's inner ramblings were getting a bit out of hand, but then that line near the end there, paraphrasing: "Why can't I just stop thinking about how I should feel and just feel?" put it all into perspective for me in a way that felt very pointed, by design, and only made more clear what amazing foils these two are for each other, one thinking so much before feeling and the other kind of the opposite. Trying to meet halfway the only way they know how, scorched earth and all that.

There's so much about the story, about the relationship between these two that I love, and while I played there was a real curve of that. I started out finding them kind of charming, and became more and more invested and into it with every line, every way they tried to hurt each other, it was so good. I guess that's the main thing I wanna say about this; it feels so well crafted and observed, I can tell you put a lot of effort into every part of these two.

Also I can't not mention those expressions. That shit-eating little grin is some of the best I've seen in VN sprites, it's a work of art. Every time it appeared alongside those insufferable lines of hers I was right there with our girl, wanting to put a bullet in her, but in a good way I guess. I love her to death. Part of me almost expected her to say she was lying about her sister near the end there, but then came the explanation and I felt almost bad for distrusting her despite everything she'd done and said.

Anyway... that masturbation scene. Incredible. 10/10, the most normal girls you will ever see. Nothing more to add.

But yeah, this is just a really, really well-crafted game, from top to bottom. I love seeing someone else's story realized like this, and I'm very happy I got to read this and experience the girlies.

really quite fond of this. what you get to learn of the world is fascinating. the writing is very punchy and immediately gets you in the head of the dandelion gal, including (especially?) when she's upset with herself and her life and her feelings and and her actions the world around her. you get a fantastic sense of the characters and their awful fucked up relationship before they ever say a word to each other. which it makes it it extremely fun to watch when the dynamics of it get flipped on its head very sharply

altogether just sort of an infatuating little jaunt through the miserable lives of two miserable people and their miserable relationship with each other. cathartic in a way that makes you feel kind of gross to be there. also: it's all got fantastic sound design. lovely and extremely evocative art with impressively effective color design. very pretty girls. also it's just good erotica and the gunplay was hot as hell and will be stuck in my head

bonus: "so you're going along with me on the motherly angle, then, little oedipus?" is a line that is gonna replay in my head in my love life. thanks
